Study on food locking and packaging by nanomaterials

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: By examining the barriers antimicrobial effects and nano-enabled smart packaging solutions this research provides insights into the mechanisms that underpin the success of nanomaterials in maintaining food freshness and extending shelf life. A food packaging company collaborated with materials scientists to develop a novel packaging film that incorporates AgNPs with the primary goal of creating packaging material that not only prevented external contamination but also actively inhibited microbial growth on the packaged food.
  • Who: Yuanhao Ma from the Institute of Engineering, Dankook University, Gyeonggi-do, Korea have published the Article: Study on food . . .
