    Stunting was one of the major nutritional problems of public health importance in Ethiopia, where 38%, 24%, and 10% of children aged 0-59 months were stunted, underweight and wasted, respectively, though there is marked reginal variation within the country. There is a paucity of evidence with regard to stunting and its predictors among children aged 6-59 months who live in productive safety net program beneficiary`s households and non-beneficiary`s households in Ethiopia particularly in the study setting.
