Successful treatment of risperidone-induced hypothermia with aripiprazole: a brief case report and a literature review

HIGHLIGHTS

• What: The authors report the case of a 68-year-old male with a history of cerebral palsy bipolar disorder and paranoid schizophrenia who was admitted due to poor oral intake and was found to have persistent hypothermia despite active external rewarming. The authors intended to present the case to illustrate the importance of considering various etiologies of hypothermia and ways of managing it.
