- what: The cellulose solution was initially prepared from water hyacinth fibers with a mixed solvent of urea and NaOH.
- how: The result showed that the incorporation of borax into cellulose-based hydrogel showed negative results of % reduction of bacteria for gram-negative bacteria (E. Coli) testing it could not destroy gram-negative bacteria.
