HIGHLIGHTS
- What: In the present study, the treatment outcomes and effects on survival of patients undergoing PM with VATS and thoracotomy were evaluated. In the study , similar results were obtained, with only 3 patients undergoing an R1 resection, while the remaining patients underwent an R0 resection. The analysis shows that 8 male patients in the VATS group died, while 26 are still alive.
