Sustainable management of fish gut waste through transesterification

  • What: This research investigates the production of from specifically as an alternative fuel to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and improve in the market. including non-edible parts such as heads tails fins and internal organs was collected from a local market and subjected to an extraction process using wet boiling. Two optimization experiments were conducted to determine the best methanol concentration (15% 20% and 25%) and KOH concentration (1g 2g and 3g).
