- who: Pei Li and collaborators from the Kaili University, China have published the article: Synthesis and Bioactivities of Novel Galactoside Derivatives Containing 1,3,4-Thiadiazole Moiety, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- how: The newly synthesized title compounds are tested for antibacterial and antifungal activities. The results indicated that the catalyst solvent and temperature had a pronounced effect on the yield and a maximum yield of 82% was achieved when sodium hydroxide was used as a catalyst and acetone as a solvent for 0.5 h at room temperature.
