  • What: This work seeks to explore the effectiveness of_(AI) tools in improving engagement with language learning through the perception of teachers (Luckin et_al 2016). The study identifies four key dimensions associated with the use of AI: a motivational tool personalised learning practical limitations and positioning as a supplementary rather than a replacement teaching resource. This study attempts to add to the foregoing understanding by investigating teachers` perceptions about the effectiveness of AI tools in engaging students in English language learning.
