Numerous studies have indicated that clinicians have few opportunities to learn about EoLC during their academic programs; subsequently, SLPs feel inadequately prepared to work with patients near the EoL, contributing to feeling overwhelmed and inexperienced upon clinical entry (Candea, 2011; Mahendra and amp; Alonso, 2020; Pascoe et_al, 2018; Rivers et_al, 2009; Stead et_al, 2020).
