SUMMARY
The aim of the research was to investigate the conditions for CAM use, the differences in experiences of CAM use between patients and their relatives, and factors associated with patients and their relatives disclosing their CAM use to medical personnel in hospice and palliative care inpatient facilities in Taiwan. The research points out that both terminally ill patients and their relatives would be more willing to share information related to CAM use (9.8 and 5.6 times more likely, respectively) if their medical practitioners enquire about it.
