- what: The authors describe how TGFb modulates early stages of CD8+ T_cell activation. The authors focused on analysis of the transcripts downregulated following OVA-T4 + TGFb treatment ("TGFb-down", n=1139, fold-change > 1.5). A surprising finding in the study has been the mild effect of TGFb on rpS6 and mTOR phosphorylation considering the important role of AA levels in mTOR regulation .
