The association between energy-adjusted dietary inflammatory index and metabolic syndrome and its mediatory role for cardiometabolic diseases: a prospective cohort study

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: This study aimed to investigate the effect of E-DII on MetS and its related diseases in an Iranian population. In this study, EDII was calculated based on FFQ data. The data from this study was recorded and analyzed in IBM SPSS Version 23 (Armonk, NY: IBM Corp.). This study showed TG level had the strongest association with DII (β=2.795) among MetS components .
