  • What: In such a context, the primary objective of this study was to evaluate the correlation between the BUN/Cr ratio and the rate of mortality during hospitalization within ICU for patients presenting with a combination of AIS and AF. For the study , eligibility was determined by selecting patients who experienced their initial ICU admission and were diagnosed with both AIS and AF. Literature preceding this study has consistently demonstrated the importance of BUN/Cr in prognosticating the likelihood of ischemic stroke occurrence.
