- what: The authors report that the expression of ACKR2 was upregulated in the corneas of WT mice infected with 5.4 x 105 pfu of HSV-1 virus per cornea. Taken together, the authors show here that ACKR2 is one of several proteins which contribute to recruitment of immune cells in HSK and most likely does so through its decoy role . . .
