Operational Environment of the Scintillator Tileboards For the high-luminosity phase of the LHC (HL-LHC) at CERN the calorimeter of the CMS detector will be upgraded. In the front and inner region, the detector layers are realized by hexagonal-shaped silicon modules with in total 6 million detector channels in about 620m² of silicon. The scintillator detector modules are based on individually wrapped plastic scintillator . . .
