SUMMARY
The study that discusses cooperative conversation is called the cooperative principle which is supported by Grice`s theory. The contribution of this conversation has four maxims; maxim of quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relation, and maxim of manner. Yusro, et.al, the data findings are not only about maxims, but there is a violation of maxims in the EFL class interaction.
