As has been mentioned above, this paper is the first study to investigate the efficacy of different time and dose of TXA in the treatment of TBI. For TXA dose, the current conventional dose is 1 g TXA bolus followed by 1 g TXA maintenance, but a recent study showed 2 g TXA bolus followed by a placebo infusion.
