  • What: The aim of this study is to retrospectively examine patients who have undergone IOL intrascleral fixation surgery at the institution to identify single and multiple predisposing conditions that may contribute to abnormal lens and IOL position. Materials And Methods To clarify the above issues, the authors retrospectively conducted the investigation shown in Figure 1. Four cases were excluded from this study because of the following reasons: one case in which an IOL was inserted secondarily after cataract surgery in childhood, one case in which an IOL was removed and a secondary IOL was inserted for endophthalmitis . . .
