SUMMARY
Among the several structures, one of them has the most significant visual impact (VI) element: the pylon, also called mast or tower, which is a vertical and, usually, lattice structure. The custom-designed structures should be used to reduce the visual impact and better integrate with the landscape; Due to the subjectivity of the visual impact perception, different approaches have been published in the related literature to aid the designer in mitigating new structures.
