- what: The authors demonstrate here that indeed PEA-15 is encoded by the longest ORF found in the isolated cDNAs because: (i) it contains all of the four peptide sequences previously established from protein microsequencing, (ii) it is translated in_vitro as a 15-kDa protein, and_(iii) it is expressed in_vivo as demonstrated by Northern blotting . . .
