SUMMARY
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, countries around the world have implemented non-pharmaceutical interventions. The widespread use of these interventions has raised interest in empirically studying their effects on health-related outcomes reflecting disease dynamics, e. g. the number of new cases or infection rates. Different study settings, outcomes, interventions, methodological approaches, and ways to assess effects may be used.
