SUMMARY
In Study 1, participants estimated how often they talk about moral issues in daily talk as they go about their ordinary lives. The purpose was to gauge people`s estimation of the prominence of morality in daily conversations. The majority of participants were White or European American (74.9%), followed by Black or African American (8.5%); 208 participants (58.8%) identified as woman, 145 participants (41.0%) identified as man, and one participant identified as non-binary.
