- what: The authors show that arrestin3, but not arrestin2, potentiates platelet aggregation 3 of 12 and secretion induced by agonists such as ADP, AYPGKF, thrombin, and U46619. The authors demonstrate that arrestin3, not arrestin2, plays a central role in regulating GPCR-mediated platelet functional responses and thrombus formation in_vivo through general GPCR desensitization.
