- who: Marco W. Fraaije from the (UNIVERSITY) have published the Article: The Prodrug Activator EtaA from Mycobacterium tuberculosis Is a Baeyer-Villiger Monooxygenase*, in the Journal: (JOURNAL) of July/18,/2003
- what: Gel filtration experiments performed in this study showed that the enzyme exists as a mixture of relatively large oligomers ranging from 200 to 600 kDa. As purification of Histagged enzyme is very efficient, this EtaA variant has been used for all of the experiments described below. The authors have been able to demonstrate that EtaA is indeed able to perform Baeyer-Villiger oxidations . . .
