    Using factors derived from basic blood tests, several scores have been developed to predict the duration and severity of infections. No studies have investigated so far the relationship between NLR and CRP with the severity of odontogenic infections. The low-severity infection group consisted of mild to moderate infections, whereas the high-severity infection group included moderate to severe infections.
