    From middle childhood to late adolescence in the general population. One of the earliest measures of ToM used storytelling with puppets, and established that most neurotypical children aged around 4-5 years can understand false beliefs. Oliver et_al tracked conduct problems from age 4 to 13 years, identifying four trajectories (low problem levels, limited to childhood only, problems beginning in adolescence, early-onset persistent problems), and showed that all problem trajectory types, except the low problem type, were associated with social cognitive deficits.
