The state of artificial intelligence in medical research: a survey of corresponding authors from top medical journals

  • What: For this survey, only the email addresses of the corresponding authors listed in the manuscript were sought and collected. This study aimed to explore the perceptions and utilization of Artificial_Intelligence (AI) tools in scientific production among corresponding authors who published in the 15 most-impacted factor medical journals in 2022. Although beyond the primary focus of this study, the authors find it noteworthy to comment on the responses concerning the Scopus H-index.
