- What: This study examined attitudes toward the use of new psychoactive substances (NPS) among young people in Romania and the prevalence of poly-consumption. The findings of this research provide valuable insights into the demographic, social, and psychological factors influencing NPS use. The data analyzed in this study reflect a higher incidence among male consumers, a trend that has been supported by various studies focusing on substance use. This study describes that 10.82% of NPS users come from families with tense family structures, and 8.23% come from families with indifferent family structures.
