SUMMARY

    Lung cancer (LC) is one of the most common malignancies in the world today. Metastatic disease is already present at diagnosis in about 40% of patients with the most common sites being bone, liver, brain, and adrenal gland, while gastrointestinal sites are much more uncommon. No systematic review on the topic exists nor does a pooled analysis of PCLC patients. The aim of this systematic review is to investigate characteristics, management and overall survival of PCLC patients.
