SUMMARY

In Grand Fond, of 814 opx studied, only 15% are zoned, with a prevalence in single-zoned and particularly in reverse-zoned crystals compared to normal-zoned ones (Fig 2e). In the four small explosive eruptions, of the 2410 opx studied, the proportions of zoned crystals are considerably higher (between 51 and 65% of the population being zoned) (Fig 2f-i . . .
