SUMMARY
Both have a focus on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), which may be the first application of quantum_communication in general. This new technical committee will develop and coordinate European standardisation activities on quantum computing, quantum_communication and quantum metrology, sensing and imaging. Sections 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4 look at standardisation from the technological perspective for quantum computing and amp; simulation, quantum_communication, and quantum metrology, sensing and amp; imaging, respectively. Quantum Photonics: such as, single-photon sources and detectors (for ultraprecise quantum interferometers, phase discrimination for quantum_communication, twin beam and squeezed light, super-resolution . . .
