Tradd regulates perinatal development and adulthood survival in mice lacking ripk1 and ripk3

HIGHLIGHTS

  • who: John P. Dowling from the Jefferson University, USA have published the article: TRADD regulates perinatal development and adulthood survival in mice lacking RIPK1 and RIPK3, in the Journal: NATURE COMMUNICATIONS NATURE COMMUNICATIONS
  • what: The authors report an approach to investigate the physiological function of TRADD by employing unique animal models. The authors show that in young adult mice (7-8 week old), the lymphoid organs of Ripk1-/-Ripk3-/-Tradd+/- mice are indistinguishable from wild-type controls despite a reduction of TRADD protein levels and the absence of RIPK1 and RIPK3 (Supplementary Fig 5).
