HIGHLIGHTS
- who: Chenlu Zhu from the Purdue, United States have published the research work: Transcriptomics-based analysis of genes related to lead stress and their expression in the roots of Pogonatherum crinitum, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- how: For GSH and ascorbic acid (ASA) determination methods the authors used methods mentioned by Ma and Cheng and Tanaka et_al respectively. These results indicated that the root system of P. crinitum may respond to Pb stress mainly through the transport system. This result is consistent with the response strategy of Pyrus pyrifolia to abiotic stress (Lu et_al 2015).
