SUMMARY
I ask: under what conditions, if any, is it permissible to interfere to try to prevent others from choosing to undergo a transformative experience? I argue that the authors possess a moral right to what I call revelatory autonomy, providing a conditional answer to this question that, unlike other views I shall consider, accommodates the epistemic peculiarities of transformative choices and lays a plausible groundwork for an ethics of transformative experiences.
