Translating and validating the japanese version of the tolerance for ambiguity scale

  • What: The authors aimed to develop and validate the Japanese version of the TFA scale (J-TFA scale). The analysis showed that both the Japanese and English versions of the TFA scale had a two-factor structure, although the items that made up the factors differed between the two versions. While this study examined structural validity and internal reliability of consistency, the authors could not assess other validity (e_g, criterionrelated validity) or reliability (e_g, test-retest reliability).
