HIGHLIGHTS

• What: This study examined data from Södersjukhuset, one of the centrally located non-trauma-center emergency hospitals and the largest by number of acute patients. Bias By design, this study is subject to selection bias towards trauma patients with less obvious injuries, but this intended as the purpose of the study was to explore trauma triage accuracy at non-trauma-center hospitals. As this study was not designed to assess adherence to TTA criteria, whether or not triage was performed in accordance with the national trauma triage guidelines and the TTA criteria remains unknown but warrants . . .
