- what: The authors assess immunosuppressive modulators in the melanoma model and the modulator that was most highly expressed by qPCR in the B16-F10 melanoma is ApoE. The studies show that tumor cells depleted of apoE can stimulate remarkable immune activation in co-culture experiments. This work shows that tumor immunity can be restored and enhanced by targeting apoE.
