- What: The primary reason for the higher prevalence of physical health problems in these individuals is their very poor lifestyle habits. The aim of this study was to validate the IMB model concerning health-promoting behaviors among individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia using a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach. In this study, age and sex, along with daily antipsychotic dosage, were designated as control variables.
