Empirically, a significant impact of SRL on academic performance (e_g, Cleary et_al, 2020; Dignath and amp; Büttner, 2008; Zimmerman and amp; Bandura, 1994), well-being (e_g, Davis and amp; Hadwin, 2021; Park et_al, 2012; Zimmerman and amp; Martinez-Pons, 1990), and the development of generic competencies (e_g, Artelt et_al, 2001; Weinstein and amp; Hume, 1998; Wolters, 2011) has been demonstrated.
