- What: This study provides novel insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying GPA resistance genes in P. persica. The authors focused on the evaluation of aphid populations on peach trees, specifically utilizing a Chinese wild peach species, P. persica, belonging to the Rosaceae family. The authors aimed to discover potential biological links between these RNAs, as clustering gene_expression levels can reveal unknown links. The research has shown that these genes can be significantly induced during GPA infestation (Fig 4B).
