• What: The authors describe how the authors extended the Modular Earth Submodel System (MESSy; Jöckel et_al, 2005, 2010) infrastructure to include the PSrad radiation scheme (Pincus and Stevens, 2013) for further use in MESSy-based climate simulations. In Sect 4, the authors show RF estimates derived using the old and new radiation scheme, and the authors compare the results to results from previous studies (Sect 4).
