- What: In the present study, the variation in the pharmacological properties of both species was evaluated in plants collected from sites at two different altitudes. All of the experiments were performed in triplicate, and the obtained results were statistically analyzed via one-way ANOVA using SPSS 20.0 software . The primary reason behind the higher production of phytochemicals may be the extreme fluctuations in temperature and the lack of nutrients. In the present study, the antiproliferative of the plant extracts of A. houstonianum and M. micrantha was evaluated using an MTT assay.
