  • what: In the present study, compared with PBL, PFA was less aromatic and contained greater numbers of oxygen-containing functional_groups , which would be conducive to combining with Se to form bioavailable Se compounds. This study shows that the addition of PFA in appropriate concentrations significantly elevated both POD and GPX activity, thus improving the plant`s ability to scavenge free_radicals.
