SUMMARY
Rigid CR was associated with higher weight status, while flexible CR was associated with lower weight status or showed no association. Flexible CR was associated with greater weight loss compared with rigid CR. The original flexible and rigid CR scales were developed and validated by Westenhoefer et_al as an extension of the CR dimension of the Three-Factor Eating Questionnaire (Eating Inventory).
