What works for whom in school-based anti-bullying interventions? an individual participant data meta-analysis

SUMMARY

    Victims and bully-victims are more likely to develop problems such as anxiety, loneliness, and depression (Christina et_al, 2021; Reijntjes et_al, 2010), have worse physiological outcomes when under social stress (Giletta et_al, 2018), and are more likely to engage in suicidal ideation and suicide attempts (Van Geel et_al, 2014). Rather, previous studies have examined "what works" (e_g, De Mooij et_al, 2020a; Gaffney et_al, 2019b, 2021; Ttofi and amp; Farrington, 2009) or "for whom does it work" (e_g, Garandeau et_al, 2014; Nocentini et_al, 2019; Yeager et_al, 2015) in isolation-with the former group of studies . . .
