    Due to the dynamic nature of the transcriptome, gene_expression profiling has turned out to be an important research tool for elucidating disease pathophysiology and finding specific biomarkers. Preliminary studies have identified gene_expression profiles that would distinguish women with acute myocardial infarction (MI) with nonobstructive CAD from those with MI-CAD or controls, and subjects with coronary stenosis ≥50% from those with stenosis and amp;lt;50%.
