SUMMARY
The gap between a patient`s first visit to a health care facility with symptoms of tuberculosis and the diagnosis of tuberculosis is referred to as the health system diagnostic delay. According to the findings of a systematic review and meta-analysis, health system diagnosis delays ranged from 2 to 128.5 days, whereas they ranged from 6 to 28 days in other studies conducted in Ethiopia among tuberculosis patients.
