- what: The authors extend the utility of the metaphor to examine the ways in which teacher candidates experience K12 classrooms during their coursework and student teaching. For this study, Laura and Kaitlin served in dual roles.
- how: The authors provided teacher candidates with sample artwork to model the different modes and mediums available to artists during their artmaking.
