• What: The aim of this work is to analyse the quality and transparency of data on the additional costs of public works. The authors evaluate different phases, considering pre- contracting mechanisms, project preparation and even issues related to the guarantee of the works. In the studies carried out, there is no characterization description specifically aimed at discussing deviations in costs and deadlines from the perspective of the availability of official data and the quality of the information conveyed.
