HIGHLIGHTS
- What: This systematic review was conducted to determine if there is an association between thyroid hormones and Lp(a) levels in patients with thyroid abnormalities. FT4 levels were the focus of this review since the FT4 level is a primarily measured parameter in thyroid function tests, and there is generally a good agreement between triiodothyronine (T3) and FT4 levels . Limitations of the study This study has a few limitations.
